Echoes of Convict Craftsmanship

The name Arrow Brick House comes from the hand-made convict bricks which are featured on the wall behind the fireplace a number of the bricks also feature thumbprints which have left a permanent mark from the maker. These bricks were probably made in around the 1860s at Port Arthur.

Sunrise Soaks and Sunset Serenades

As the sun rises over the Three Capes Track and illuminates the cabin it is the perfect time to enjoy a sunrise soak in the indoor/outdoor bath surrounded by traditional Tasmanian made rock walls and rainforest ferns, while watching the wrens flitting across the lawn.

Enjoy a freshly brewed morning cup of coffee and listen to the birds calling or enjoy some peaceful morning yoga or meditation on the deck while listening to the sounds of sunrise. Breathe deeply, slow down and enjoy some of the world’s cleanest air.

Later, as the sun begins to set, head indoors to the cosy fireplace to enjoy some local wine and cheese, listen to some tunes and reminisce about the day’s adventures in the wild.
