Arrow Brick House on the Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania
Arrow Brick House is a cosy, secluded cabin located on the breathtakingly wild Tasman Peninsula, in Southern Tasmania. The cabin is set amongst the green, rolling hills of Port Arthur, just a 5 minute drive from the world heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site. From the cabin, there are spectacular views over the ocean, misty mountains and the historic Tasman lighthouse.
Shaped by history, weather and millions of stars and surrounded by native wildlife, birds and a few sheep this is a special and unique place. A snuggly home base from which to explore the many attractions and walks the Peninsula has to offer.
The name Arrow Brick House comes from the hand-made convict bricks which are featured on the wall behind the fireplace a number of the bricks also feature thumbprints which have left a permanent mark from the maker. These bricks were probably made in around the 1860s at Port Arthur.
Sunrise Soaks and Sunset Serenades
As the sun rises over the Three Capes Track and illuminates the cabin it is the perfect time to enjoy a sunrise soak in the indoor/outdoor bath surrounded by traditional Tasmanian made rock walls and rainforest ferns, while watching the wrens flitting across the lawn.
Enjoy a freshly brewed morning cup of coffee and listen to the birds calling or enjoy some peaceful morning yoga or meditation on the deck while listening to the sounds of sunrise. Breathe deeply, slow down and enjoy some of the world’s cleanest air.
Later, as the sun begins to set, head indoors to the cosy fireplace to enjoy some local wine and cheese, listen to some tunes and reminisce about the day’s adventures in the wild.
We had such a relaxing time at Arrow Brick House. The location is stunning, overlooking the Tasman peninsula, and is so quiet and peaceful.
Jacqui has created a lovely warm space with everything we needed for our stay.
The house has so many beautiful touches in its design. The bath space in particular was like a little oasis! My friend and I really needed a break away from everything, and we found this and more!
Thank you Jacqui, we really loved our stay :)

This is one of the best places we have stayed in Tasmania. Amazing views, cozy and comfortable living and dining, comfy bed and an outdoor tub! Bit of a dream house situation to be honest.
Wonderful for bird watching too, particularly enjoyed the nest building pair of satin flycatchers. Can't wait to come back.

We wanted a peaceful, out of the way place with beautiful surroundings and we were not disappointed! This is a cracker of a property, with stunning views from the top of a hill.
We had an outdoor bath enjoying the beautiful outlook every night, despite it being July. All the little touches from bath salts, bubble bath, heaps of firewood, quality body wash, shampoo, plus a fully fitted out kitchen were wonderful.
Jacqui's communication was on point and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway and highly recommend this property.

Arrow Brick House beats a 5 star resort any day. It was so peaceful and private.
The outdoor bath was the perfect touch of luxury. We loved escaping the hustle bustle and just soaking in the beautiful sounds of nature. It was nice and close to Port Arthur Historical site as well as Roaring Beach, White Beach and The Remarkable Cave. Highly recommend for romantic get away or a comfortable and safe family holiday.
Thanks Jacqui!
